Often used specifically for the benefit of allowing flexibilty when fully cured, rubberised paints are useful in protective applications where high movement is expected and/or extremes of weathering may be an issue as they can expand and contract with the substrate(s). As a waterproofer rubberised paints form a watertight membrane, useful for sealing roofs, basements, and exterior walls amongst other surfaces. Easily applied using brushes or rollers, rubberised paints can be decanted into trays or kettle buckets as per standard paint products for tidyness and quantity control.
